Henry Greene: The Ocutech Image Minifier is a reverse telescope that makes the image half as large as normal. As a result it will help individuals with Retinitis Pigmentosa or other visual disorders that cause a constricted visual field. It has a very wide ocular lens which allows the individual to scan while looking through it. It also provides a flat field of view. It doesn’t give you the barrel distortion that other sorts of reverse telescopes might give you. It’s available with either a neck strap so you can hang it around your neck and pick it up and look through it when you need to or it can be mounted into a pair of glasses and worn continuously to go down stairs or walk in crowded areas.
