Introducing the SightScope™ Bottom-View: new mounting option!
While we have offered the SightScope and SightScope NearView mounted on the Sleek frame to provide a full-diameter (central positioning) of the telescope for many years, the full-diameter position was not ideal for down-gaze posture for reading and other near-centered activities.
We now offer the Bottom-View which will allow you to position the telescopes in a bifocal position. It has a completely adjustable viewing angle so no special measurements need to be made to position it exactly how you patient may require. It’s re-adjustable at any time, and it can still be flipped out of the way!
Order it with distance vision carrier lenses and with reading cap powers from +1 to +4 in 0.50D steps or using the NearView version with permanently installed reading caps up to +3D. All have BI prism so that your patient can have binocular vision to as close at 10 inches! You can order it for one or both eyes. Call us to discuss non-standard reading cap powers.
We also offer a Special SightScope Reading Cap Demo Kit with 3 pairs of caps in your choice of standard powers (+1 to +4 in 0.50D steps)!

Ocutech exhibited at the ISLRR meeting in Florence, Italy.
The International Low Vision meeting help every other year was held this month in Florence, Italy. Ocutech was the only US Exhibitor. Attendees from all over the world shared three full days of courses and demonstrations on the newest in low vision and neuro-rehabilitation. Ocutech’s booth was always busy with lots of interest both in our bioptics and the new SideSight Hemianopsia collision alert device. It was exciting to see the growing interest in Low Vision in so many countries! The 2027 ISLRR meeting will be held in Melbourne, Australia! Final dates will be announced soon.
